CNC bending is where a flat laser-cut blank becomes a formed part. Our press brake is CNC-controlled, so every bend is positioned and angled to your drawing with repeatable accuracy. Whether you need a simple bracket with one bend or a complex enclosure with multiple folds, we set up the tooling, run a first-off sample, and check it before we run the batch.
Good bending is about more than just hitting the angle. It's about choosing the right tooling for the material and thickness, accounting for springback, and planning the bend sequence so the part doesn't collide with the machine on the second or third fold. That's the difference between a part that fits and a part that's scrap — and it's why we review every bending job before we start.
Enclosures, covers, cabinets and equipment panels in mild steel, stainless and aluminium.
Mounting brackets, support cleats, angle brackets and custom fixings.
Custom folded sections, channels, angles and edge trims.
Complex folded components with 3, 4 or more bends in sequence.
We receive your flat pattern (or we develop it from your 3D model), confirm the bend positions and angles, and select the appropriate punch and die. For each job, we run a first-off sample, measure the angles and dimensions against your drawing, and adjust the program if needed. Only after the first-off is approved do we run the full batch.
We account for material springback — the natural tendency of metal to partially return to its flat shape after bending. Different materials and thicknesses spring back differently, and our CNC press brake compensates for this in the program. The result is parts that hit your specified angle the first time, not after three or four trial bends.
We bend parts for shopfitters (trim, channels, brackets), equipment manufacturers (enclosures, panels, mounting plates), architectural fabricators (balustrade components, handrail brackets), and construction crews (base plates, cleats, support angles). If your part starts as a flat sheet and needs folds, we can bend it.
We bend mild steel sheet and plate, stainless 304 and 316, and aluminium. Each material has different springback characteristics, and our press brake program compensates for each one. We know how much each material springs back, so the finished angle matches your drawing the first time.
